About Us

Genevieve Henrique is an experienced and zealous advocate.  She is known for both her trial skills in the courtroom and her ability to negotiate fair outcomes outside of the courtroom.  She takes pride in keeping her communication with clients up to date and taking the time to explain the often intimidating, judicial process.   Attorney Henrique understands that divorce is a difficult enough experience and tries to keep it cost efficient and financially fair to her clients.  Although always willing to take a case to trial, she also seeks to mediate fair resolutions when the circumstances are appropriate.

Attorney Henrique’s ties to the Cape Cod community run from Falmouth, to Provincetown and to the Islands.  As a prosecutor for the Office of the Cape and Islands District Attorney, she became well versed in criminal law while practicing in each of the regional district courts.  She founded the Law Firm of Genevieve Henrique in 2006 and has expanded her practice to cover the Cape and Islands as well as southeastern Massachusetts and beyond.

In addition to her practice in family and criminal law, she is also known for her appellate advocacy and has argued frequently in the Massachusetts Court of Appeals as well as penned briefs that resulted in published decisions.  Attorney Henrique also practices personal injury and estate law.

Beyond her legal practice, Attorney Henrique actively engages in community service, supporting causes such as the Falmouth Education Foundation, (past board member), Parent Teacher Organization (past vice-president), and volunteering on several committees and for other non-profit organizations.

A graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D., Cum Laude) and The George Washington University (B.A., Magna Cum Laude), Attorney Henrique is not only a dedicated legal professional but also a committed contributor to the community she cherishes.
